New enrollment policy  applied on the private education sector in this academic year has brought some mist to the industry. Questions regarding to future developments triggered discussions and expounds on the opportunities, challenges, reforms and innovations of private education among the participating experts, and gave a detailed interpretation of how to run private schools that are satisfied by the people and complied with social development.

"It has been mentioned many times that the operation of private schools should be well regulated. What are the problems left that need to be regulated?" On the forum, the host Zhang Xiongji, the principal of Panyu Zhixin Middle School, raised a question. He thought, regulating school management should be understood as running school strictly to law, but we must be careful not to treat the regulations as a wolf. If some circumstances are not regulated, schools shall set up their own rules based on actual conditions, such as curriculum settings, school features etc. "I think this is an opportunity, and the brave ones will win if we meet on a narrow road."

Li Jianmin, the former principal of The Foreign Language School affiliate to Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, said to run in compliance to regulations is a prerequisite of gaining support from the government. "Our country's economic strength and the income of the people are gradually increasing, and needs for education are becoming more diversified. In the past, it was to go to a school, but now it is to go to a good school." Li Jianmin believes that to satisfy the diverse needs offers a large room of improvement for the private schools.

Facing the fact that private schools are no longer allowed to proceed assessments during enrollment process, how do private schools tackle associated problems was an important topic. All kinds of “internal classes" and “secret tests” hearsays are spreading, do private schools can only do well by picking students? Li Wenzhang, an education expert from the Guangdong Academy of Education, said that it is a thing of the past for private schools to shape their advantages by picking good students. If a private school wants to develop further, it must first strengthen its internal drive and enrich the culture of the school. There is no future for running a school only by enrolling students who already do well in academic. “We should be able to let the students grow to the greatest extent no matter what kind of students we recruit, and cultivate him into the best self. This is one of the biggest advantages of our private schools, but this advantage may not be fully exploited.”
