The parents’ reception is prepared for the parents to use when they come in during the week for their children who are boarding at school. The relax vibe here ease the tense between students, parents and teachers  when it comes to real problem discussions. Compare to teacher’s office, children are more willing to make communication and introspection here.

We also often see parents come with home made food to have meals with their kids, of course a chat too. In fact the reception area is not only a place to rest and chill, but also an important hub to build the connection between the school and families. School staffs and teachers including principles provide service at the reception café in a shift schedule. In here, we listen to parents’ voice and collect their opinions, which is valuable for the improvement of school work.
