Guests from the Mönchengladbach Football Club of Germany visited our school and had a football education exchange with us. The team was established in 1900, it is a world-class professional football club located in Mönchengladbach, Germany. It is currently a participating team in the Bundesliga and has won the UEFA Champions League and the Bundesliga several times. Their home court is the newly built Prussian Park Stadium which can occupy 53,000 spectators.

The guests of the team including Volker Piekarski, sport adviser of the football club, and the team's little cute mascot character. Volker holds an UEFA Pro Licence, which is the highest level of UEFA coaches, Volker is qualified to coach directly in world-leading teams such as Manchester United, and has trained many world-class football stars.

German football is world-famous and the youth training system of VfL Borussia Mönchengladbach ranks the first in Germany. The VfL Borussia Mönchengladbach football school has sent many football talents to both the team and European football industry. At 5 pm, the headmaster Zhang Xiongji and coach Volker joined the afterschool training session of our football team, Volker has given out some wonderful coaching demonstrations. Our young players were longing for more time when training was about to finish, they have experienced the world class football education concept without travelling outside of the school .

On the grass under the sun, young players ran one after another, sweating in the laughter with  energy, the passion and concentration they put into practice are no worse than professional football players.

Through this activity, children were able to experience the most advance and a different style of football training. The communication between Panyu Zhixin and VfL Borussia Mönchengladbach regarding to teenager football education will take more place in the future.
