The president of Liaoning Provincial Non-Government Education Association Bai Wei, executive director Ren Xiaowei and other members visited Panyu Zhixin Middle School and conducted a detailed research of the school. The touring of president Bai was accompanied by Zhang Xiongji, the headmaster of Panyu Zhixin. This walking tour gave president Bai a detail vision of the foundation of Panyu Zhixin’s education philosophy by seeing the outstanding and spacious environments and the completeness of well equipped function rooms. President Bai commented that this is a model campus in the private education sector of our country.

President Bai and the school leaders conducted in-depth exchanges on private sector education. By listening to headmaster Zhang Xiongji’s introduction of the construction process of Panyu Zhixin Middle School, president Bai deeply felt that this is a trip that beyond expectation, which allowed him to see different, innovative and personalized private education concepts. He was benefited from the concept of a all-personal cultivation with the innovation of environment and curriculum. President Bai also expressed that he would promote and publicize the core understanding of this trip in the private education sector in Liaoning. He hoped that the private education in North and South China could be interconnected, exchanged, and developed together.

President Bai was interviewed by our young journalists during the visit. President Bai expressed his feelings and understanding of the education concepts in Panyu Zhixin and Nanhai Zhixin.

Q: What was your first impression of Panyu Zhixin?

Answer: I came from the north, and it is already snow and ice over there. In the north, the leaves fall and the grass turn yellow as soon as its winter, so I came to Panyu with such a cold impression of the north in mind. Here are green trees and flowers everywhere. I felt like I have walked into spring, it was a very beautiful impression.

Q: How to get along with teachers correctly?

Answer: Teaching and learning are a pair of contradiction. Teachers hope that the students will study consciously and diligently, and constantly improve towards the good and the beautiful, but people are inert, and learning is a kind of pressure for learners, so it is very difficult to really solve the problem of learning. Students should work hard toward their own success. Teachers should love and treat each student as their own children, let them study hard, establish a correct outlook on life, establish a correct learning purpose, and turn their expectations on students into practical results. In fact, the contradiction between teaching and learning can be transformed in practice, which can form a very harmonious teacher-student relationship and achieve mutual teaching.

Q: What impressed you most about Nanhai Zhixin School?

Answer: Nanhai Zhixin is a school in the 5A scenic area. The school is surrounded by mountains and rivers, the environment is very beautiful. At the same time, I feel that Nanhai Zhixin and Panyu Zhixin have inherited the fine tradition of a trustworthy education. The two schools are in the same vein and are interdependent. I saw the shadow of Panyu Zhixin in Nanhai Zhixin, and vice versa. Both schools are very good.

Q: What suggestions do you have for promoting the overall development of students?

A: I think it's especially our perseverance. I am most impressed by the all-personal education at Panyu Zhixin School. As a formal schooling institution, academic result is always a big pressure for both students and the school, but I see that Panyu Zhixin does not put academic in front of other aspects, moral, intellectual, physical and professional development of students are also emphasized. Such a beautiful environment, with trampolines, animals, and own aquariums, these facilities are big investments for the organizers as well as a great economic pressure as the school is not funded by the government, but why do they do these things? I think Educators who have a highly responsible spirit for students would provide such an environment so that students can grow comprehensively. I think the place where the education at Panyu Zhixin touched me the most is this education system is responsible for every student instead of only considering a few top students, which happens the most in our country.


Apart from being an outstanding educator, president Bai is also a National Level II Professor and Professor of Sociology of Music. President Bai has deep understandings in calligraphy, music, economics and management.
