John Da Cruz, the director of development at Presbyterian Ladies College Sydney, received a warm welcome from the director of our International Office Mrs. Zhang Jie and colleagues upon his arrival at Panyu Zhixin school on October 16, 2019.

PLC Sydney is one of Australia’s oldest and most respected schools for girls in Australia. As well as technology, education also transforms over time. Delegation from PLC Sydney came to Panyu Zhixin school to exchange education philosophy and knew more about how “Happy learning and grow brightly” in Panyu Zhixin school helps each student grow into the most appropriate version of themselves.

During campus tour, next to the statue of Sun Yat-sen, director Cruz learned the history of Panyu Zhixin school from the day of founding to the present.

Later, guests were invited to the pottery workshop. Mr Cruz talked to students to find out their creativity in pottery making. “It’s amazing. I’d say these are the best presents ever.” Said Cruz, as he was gifted two hand-made cups by the students.

A meeting was held to exchange teaching and learning philosophy where both sides were engaged in positive interaction with an inclusive mindset. The meeting was informative and Zhixin School will look forward to cooperation with PLC Sydney to provide our students to have a wider platform to flourish.
